Task #1 - Create your blog and your first intro blog post

Here are 7 steps to do that.

1. Go to www.blogger.com.

2. If you have a Google account, enter your user name and password and sign in. If you don't have a Google account, click on CREATE A BLOG button and create your Google account. In either case, please write only your first name for your 'Display name'.

If have just created your Google account now, it will also ask you to verify yourself. Select country > Estonia. Enter your own phone number (type +372 before your number) and you will receive an SMS with verification code, which you need to key in.

3. As you go on, you will now need to enter your blog title. Please name it your First Name's English Blog (e.g. if my name were Miia, my blog title would be Miia's English Blog).

4. For blog address, please write 2016-yourfirstname-english after which there would be blogspot.com (again, if my name were Miia, my blog address would be 2016-miia-english.blogspot.com).

5. Click on CONTINUE button.

6. Choose a template (taust) for your blog and again, click CONTINUE button.

7. Make your first posting: click on START POSTING NOW. As the title, please type About me and write at least 5 sentences in English to introduce yourself. Add a picture if you feel like it.

Congratulations! You have successfully created your blog and the first blog posting!

When all this is done, please send me an e-mail with your blog address to let me know your blog is ready - I will link your blog to our class blog!

Certainly, you can play around with the settings of your blog more if  you want to - either today or in the future.
